I have used the previous book in this series for reference in doing sermons since Easter.
I have found the use of writings from a Theological, Pastoral, Exegetical & Homiletical perspective extremely helpful in formulating what I wish to get across in my sermon. I must admit I haven't
used the Exegetical info very much but it does help personally even if it doesn't make it into a sermon. With all that is available on the internet free of charge I haven't bought books for assistance in sermon writing in a long time, however I will be buying this series until I have them all.
