I actually ended up purchasing about 14 copies total of this book for our Bible study group, and I haven't been disappointed with it. It is very concise, as advertised, and is a great tool for new Christians, although one may end up finding that more information is needed. In that case, I was able to find a PDF file of Grudem's Systematic Theology that I could e-mail to everyone in the study group and use selected readings from that to supplement the smaller book being reviewed here. It has worked greatly! Grudem does have an intermediate book (not as in difficulty, but intermediate in content) called Bible Doctrine, however, if one simply pays out $10 one can have the larger one called Systematic Theology (again, I have the Systematic Theology in print, but found a free PDF and sent it to everyone in the small group and used it as supplemental reading). The one thing one may want to be aware of before purchasing is that he does take a Reformed view of the Scripture. However, once one realizes that's his bias, one can work around it.
