This is an excellent book, one that I would highly recommend as an introduction to Rivers' novels. It tells the stories of 5 Christian women who truly did change the course of Bible history. Favorites were the story of Ruth, Bathsheba and of course, Mary. Each story is short, easily readable and includes a study guide afterwards. All the women were strong and stood up for their faith, really inspiring to read about.
