As a Catholic, Our Lady of Kibeho, fed my faith and introduced me to a Marian apparition I was completely unfamiliar with. After reading the NY Times best seller, Left To Tell, by the same author, I went to hear Imaculee Ilibagiza speak at Neumann College. What an inspiration she was in her ability to forgive the horrendous atrocities that occurred to her personally during the Rwandan genocide. My interest in Our Lady of Kibeho was sparked when I learned that Mary appeared in Rwanda 13 years before the genocide, begging for people to turn their hearts to the Lord in prayer and love in order to try and avert the coming disaster. The book speaks of God's great love for us, and how truly, "...eye has not seen, ear has not heard what God has prepared for those who love Him." It is so easy to get caught up in the stesses of day to day living. This book will remind you of God's promise of everlasting life and the joy of God's Presence awaiting us at the end of our earthly life.
